ASC Youth U8’s showed no sign of their lack of competitive games over the winter period due to bad weather.

They returned in a friendly match with a 9 goal demolition of Ferndale ‘B’.

ASC, playing at home, started brightly with an early goal from Cameron Braganza with just 3 minutes gone.

Other goals came from Alex Wykeham–Martin, Jack Rossi, Seamus Drake and a hat trick from an excellent in form Jack Paine.

Ferndale’s chances were few and far between, only nearly missing on a few occasions.

With regimental build up play and some fine goalkeeping from Michael Christmas-Boulton, ASC, including their new signing Sam Singa, look a side to be watched closely this season.

A huge thanks to Steve and the Ferndale team for the match, they played at short notice due to confusion over our league fixture.
