An early start to the morning saw us play the return fixture against Swindon Rangers.

In the warm up we weren’t very sharp and were struggling to string half a dozen passes together but this changed as soon as we kicked off. The team again were playing some great football. It’s good to see them have the confidence to try and build up play from the back and pass the ball. This is really helped by the great movement and understanding of the available space on the pitch.

It’s great to see each of the players thinking more during the game and trying tricks and turns.

A number of goals were scored but it was the overall movement of the team that really impressed.

Over the coming weeks Nick and I will be setting a number of challenges for the team during the game and we are looking forward to seeing how they rise to this.
