After meeting Wroughton in the Highworth tournament last week, we knew that today’s game would be a very close one with both sides looking to play good football. This was exactly the way the game turned out and it was a real pleasure to have been involved in this encounter. There was plenty of skill on show with both teams not afraid to take chances and show what they could do, both individually and collectively.

Again we had lots of good displays from all of our players who are becoming more confident with each game they play. But most importantly today, Dave and I noticed our shape improving more and our team play getting better and better.

We look forward to playing Wroughton again at some point before the start of the season and can’t wait for our next friendly match in a couple of week’s time.
