Nice and short report really.

We've been here before lads, and the comments are all sounding familiar. This was a Quarter final of a cup competition against one of the best teams in the league. It's games like this that are what football is all about, wanting to play against the best , put yourselves against the better teams and raise your games, it's how you measure yourselves. Ask any player who he'd rather play against, The Red Lion local pub side 11, or Barcelona ? Food for thought.

The spirit was good to start with, and battling well from the boys, but once the second and third goals went in some heads dropped again. As Craig said at the end of the game, there were some lads who didnt put in the 100% for 100% of the game and didnt do themselves or teammates justice All need to go away and ask themselves the question.................. A real disappointment after such a great performance from everyone in the last round of the cup, The hot potatoe syndrome, hoofing it away anywhere, arguing and moaning and pointing fingers, turning backs on balls , ducking out of headers, not tracking back or tackling........ Well, it'll all sound too negative to carry on in detail, BUT, we need to learn and build from mistakes.
