ASC Youth vs Cricklade Youth
24th Jan 2010

ASC U7s played their second game in a week against Cricklade, after last times draw we knew a tough game would take place and we were not disapointed.

Joe S becoming ASCs new keeper started off by making some great saves as Cricklade came forward looking to score, he was helped by defenders Blake and Jamie who slotted in very well, it wasnt long before ASC managed to get on the score sheet after some great work Joe B broke from Central Midfield and powered a shot into the roof of the net.

Shortly after after some nice passing from Flynn on the wing Jamie burst through and sent a shot low and hard under the Cricklade keeper.

ASC were not going to get it their own way as Cricklade matched every goal scored, but joe in goal was growing in confidence and his kicking was finding strikers Harry and Joe in lots of space enabling Joe B to get his first Hat-Trick for the Club (Told you Joe to be patient!!)

Jamie scored a brace and Harry his customary goal, I would like to mention Spikeys (Andrew E) efforts as his confidence in defence grew and grew and to Joe Carter for his first game, he looked like he had played many times before.

Well done for a great display, thanks again to the parents from both sides and to Cricklade manager Wayne for arranging this fixture at short notice and thanks to Mark my assistant who is a massive help and input to the team
