Elite Soccer Coaching 15 - 0 Highworth Juniors

Problems started before the kickoff with Highworth reduced to 6 players due to being let down late in the day. Elite started brightly having an early chance go wide of the post. The chances kept on coming and several very easy efforts to open up the scoring went wide or over the bar and it was beginning to look like one of those days....

The floodgates were finally opened with a great left foot shot from Ash outside of the penalty area fizzing into the goal. ESC 1 - 0 HJ
Elite settled down a little and began to pass the ball around. The second goal came from link up play starting with Ash to Sean who passed to Oli Sinclair to score. ESC 2 - 0 HJ
An Elite corner was chested down by Ash for Oli Sinclair to slot home for his second, ESC 3 - 0 HJ. The game was firmly in Elites control and some passing between the Oli's gave Oli Sinclair his hattrick goal. ESC 4 - 0 HJ
There followed a flurry of goalmouth activity with Gareth providing for Oli O'Shea and Ash for Oli Sinclair to tap in from close range, ESC 6 - 0 HJ

A mistake from the Highworth goalie saw the ball land at Euan's feet  who shot into the net for his first goal, ESC 7 - 0 HJ.
Another three goals before half time, two from Gareth and one from Oli Sinclair meant a comfortable scoreline, ESC 10 - 0 HJ

Elite began the second half knowing the game was won and earned a couple of corners the best being a James cross which Ash ran onto and bundled into the net, ESC 11 - 0 HJ

Another goal came courtesy of some link up play with James passing to Ash who set Sean up to score, ESC 12 - 0 HJ.
With everyone desperate to score Highworth were given a bit more space to attack the Elite goal and the game became a little scrappy. Another three goals were scored with Euan getting two and Oli O'Shea being setup by a great cross pitch pass by Josh.

The game finished ESC 15 - 0 HJ. A scoreline which is not as important as the three points which keeps the team in contention and means the results of other games around them become important.
