With our league season now over, we were presented with the chance to play Highworth Town J once again. In previous matches with this team we had struggled a little to really compete, but I was confident that this time around we could prove to be tougher opposition than we had been previously.

After conceding an early goal I was very pleased with the way we held our shape and put some very good passing moves together. Despite this it was Highworth who went even further into the lead with another 2 well worked goals which we failed to cut out through indecisiveness and a failure to track back. However we kept plugging away and we had a good spell late on in the match which resulted in us scoring through Jack P to make the final score 3-1.

I feel we got a lot out of this game as we proved we can put some excellent passing combinations together against probably the best team around. We also kept going at 3-0 down and came back into the game after a good spell of pressure towards the end.
