Elite were quick out of the blocks today chasing down HTJ's kick off.

The first attack coming from ESC with Ryan passing out to Euan whose shot went just wide. All the pressure was from Elite and Sean was battling well on the right side before crossing to Euan who had a shot which hit the post before going out.

Elite won a freekick outside the box and Ryan stood up and took a shot at goal which went just wide.

Again a lot pressure from Elite saw a goal mouth scramble where Sean put the ball wide whilst infront of goal.

An Elite corner gave Ryan the chance to cross in from the left, the ball pinged around the box before Josh on the back post put the ball in the net. HTJ 0 - 1 ESC

With all the play in the HTJ half it wasn long before James go the ball on the left and struck a hard shot at goal which was deflected in for Elites second. HTJ 0 - 2 ESC

HTJ resorted to long range shots on goal which were easily picked up by Charlie who was having a quiet time in goal. Elite were creating lots of chances but most of the shots were going wide.

A run by Harry down the wing saw him cross to Ash who ran towards goal and scored his first of the game. HTJ 0 - 3 ESC.

A few more attacks lead to scoring chances but these all went wide of the goal. Halftime HTJ 0 - 3 ESC

With some tactical changes at halftime Elite again came out strong and a good link up with Ash and Ryan saw Ryan's shot hit the post before being picked up.

Elite, again, were controlling the game and good interplay with Ash and Harry saw Ash getting a shot on goal which beat the keeper. HTJ 0 - 4 ESC

Unfortunately HTJ were awarded a couple of dubious penalties which were taken well by the HTJ striker. HTJ 2 - 4 ESC

Inspite of the penalties, Elite came out trying to prove a point and again attacked the HTJ goal. Elite were awarded a freekick outside the box which James smashed at the goal hitting the crossbar, the rebound falling to Ash who placed the ball past the keeper to complete his hattrick. HTJ 2 - 5 ESC

Elite were playing good passing football and a ball out from Rhys in defence to James who beat a couple of HTJ players before passing to Ash who cooly finished for his 4th goal of the day. HTJ 2 - 6 ESC.

With Elite well on top Euan picked up the ball and made a lovely run through the HTJ defence before slotting into the bottom left corner. Final Score HTJ 2 - 7 ESC

Elite managed to find their passing game this week despite coming up against a well organised opposition.
