Josh Shama
Reading FC






Josh started playing for Wootton Bassett when he was 8 years old. Whilst there he became an important member of the team winning 3 league winners medals and a league cup winners medal and also represented the North Wilts District Reps team from under 9 through to under 12.

He has continued to progress through the Academy and has seen all his hard work rewarded with a Scholarship in 2011.

Josh was also crowned Junior Sports Personality of the Year at the British Asian Sports Awards held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London in February 2009.

 

Harrison Bennett
Reading FC

Harrison played for Lydiard Youth FC before signing for Reading Academy at U9's and is now into his fifth season with the club.

 

Rory Marchant
Reading FC

Rory played for Lydiard Youth FC before signing for Reading Academy at U9's and is now into his fifth season with the club.

Jay Cole
Reading FC

Jay was scouted from local team Liden FC and has become the 1st choice Goalkeeper at Reading Academy U9's.

 

Scott Twine
Southampton FC

Scott played for Wootton Bassett until the age of 9 years old when he was offered a contract by Southampton FC and now plays for their Academy.

 

Callum McCormack
Swindon Town FC 


Callum played for local team Lydiard Youth before progressing on to play for Swindon Town at the age of nine.

 

Jacob Davidge
Swindon Town FC 

Jacob also played for Nick at Lydiard Youth and the North Wilts Rep Team for a number of years before going on trial to Reading in 2007. In 2008 Jacob moved onto the Swindon Town FC School of Excellence and was offered a contract in 2009.

 

Aaron Moody
Swindon Town FC 

Aaron is another player to come through the same successful Lydiard Youth team as Callum and Jacob. Aaron started out as an outfield player at the age of 6 and later became a very accomplished Goalkeeper. He also captained the North Wilts Representative team before getting his break at Swindon Town FC, where he is now first choice Goalkeeper in his age group.

 

Gemma Shepherd
Wiltshire Girls School of Excellence

Gemma was a regular during our After School Club at Cherhill School in 2007/8. It was whilst attending our sessions that we forwarded her onto The Wiltshire Girls School of Excellence, where she won the Under 12 Special Achievement Award in her second season!

Curtis Meare
Swindon Town FC



Curtis is yet another product of the Lydiard Youth/ASC Youth side which has already seen 3 previous players step up to Centre of Excellence football. Curtis is also the second goalkeeper from the club to sign a contract with Swindon Town after playing for the club for a number of years and representing the North Wilts Rep Team and Swindon Schools Rep team.

Joe English
Swindon Town FC 

Joe has now become the 5th player from ASC Youth/Lydiard Youth to sign for a professional club after being offered a contract with Swindon Town in 2009. Joe was an integral part of our squad over the years and captained the team over a number of successful seasons.

Connor Brown
Swindon Town FC 

Connor was identified by ourselves whilst playing for local club Chiseldon and was put forward to Reading FC and Swindon Town FC which resulted in him signing a contract with The Swindon Town Centre of Excellence late in 2009.

 

Brandon Martin
Swindon Town FC

Brandon Martin has become the latest player in our ever increasing line of success stories, after recently being asked to join The Swindon Town Centre of Excellence. Congratulations go to him from all at ASC Ltd.

 

Adam Coombs
Swindon Town FC

Adam was spotted playing for Stanton U8's and invited to join our Development Centre. Adam progressed well during his time with us and was rewarded with a contract at Swindon Town's Centre of Excellence.

Congratulations to Owen, Tommy and Morgan who have all been offered contracts at The Swindon Town School of Excellence. All 3 boys regularly attended our U7/U8 Development Centre so and we are delighted that their hard work and dedication has been rewarded with contracts at U9.

 

Harry Parsons
Swindon Town FC

Harry trained and played with the DC in 2010/11and went on to have trials with Reading and Swindon Town. Harry was offered the chance to join both clubs and opted to join STFC in 2011.

 

 Oliver Rejek
Swindon Town FC

Oliver joined our DC in 2009 before going on to have trials with Reading and Swindon Town. This lead to him being accepted into the STFC Centre of Excellence in September 2010

 

Hannah Brunskill Wiltshire
Girls School of Excellence

Hannah was coached by Advanced Sports Coaching for around 3 years before becoming our second girl player to have successful trials and be invited to join the Wiltshire Girls School of Excellence.
