Advanced Sports Coaching would like to congratulate the following players who we are proud to have been associated with over the years.


Josh Shama Aged 14
Reading FC
Josh started playing for Wootton Bassett when he was 8 years old. Whilst there he became an important member of the team winning 3 league winners medals and a league cup winners medal and also represented the North Wilts District Reps team from under 9 through to under 12
. His combative and skilful style of play earned Josh a 4 year contract at Reading FC Academy where he is currently in his second year.
Josh was also crowned Junior Sports Personality of the Year at the British Asian Sports Awards held at The Grosvenor House Hotel, London in February 2009.
Scott Twine Aged 10
Southampton FC
Scott played for Wootton Bassett until the age of 9 years old when he was offered a contract by Southampton FC and now plays for their Academy.

Callum McCormack Aged 12
Swindon Town FC
Callum played for local team Lydiard Youth before progressing on to play for Swindon Town at the age of 9 and is now into his 3rd season for the club.

Jacob Davidge Aged 12
Swindon Town FC
Jacob also played for Nick at Lydiard Youth and the North Wilts Rep Team for a number of years before going on trial to Reading in 2007. In 2008 Jacob moved onto the Swindon Town FC School of Excellence and was offered a contract in 2009.
Aaron Moody Aged 12
Swindon Town FC
Aaron is another player to come through the same successful Lydiard Youth team as Callum and Jacob. Aaron started out as an outfield player at the age of 6 and later became a very accomplished Goalkeeper. He also captained the North Wilts Representative team before getting his break at Swindon Town FC, where he is now first choice Goalkeeper in his age group.
Gemma Shepherd Aged 11
Wiltshire Girls School of Excellence
Gemma Shepherd Aged 11 Wiltshire Girls School of Excellence Gemma was a regular during our After School Club at Cherhill School in 2007/8. We then helped Gemma to move onto the Wiltshire Girls School of Excellence, where Gemma recently won the Under 12 Special Achievement Award!

Curtis Meare Aged 12
Swindon Town FC
Curtis is yet another product of the Lydiard Youth/ASC Youth side which has already seen 3 previous players step up to Centre of Excellence football. Curtis is also the second goalkeeper from the club to sign a contract with Swindon Town after playing for the club for a number of years and representing the North Wilts Rep Team and Swindon Schools Rep team.
Joe English Aged 13
Swindon Town FC
Joe has now become the 5th player from ASC Youth/Lydiard Youth to sign for a professional club after being offered a contract with Swindon Town in 2009. Joe was an integral part of our squad over the years and captained the team over a number of successful seasons.

Connor Brown Aged 13
Swindon Town FC
Connor was identified by ourselves whilst playing for local club Chiseldon and was put forward to Reading FC and Swindon Town FC which resulted in him signing a contract with The Swindon Town Centre of Excellence late in 2009.
Owen Windsor Aged 8
Swindon Town FC
Owen attended our Development Centre and spent nearly a year with us, this led to him being offered trials at various clubs before deciding to join The Swindon Town School of Excellence where he is currently playing a year up for their U9's team.
ASC Youth FC
(Formally known as Lydiard Youth FC)
This is the team which Nick has proudly managed for a number of years and in his time with the team they have won the North Wiltshire & District League Title and are current holders of The North Wiltshire & District League Cup and The Wiltshire County Cup. There have been a total of 13 players from the squad who have gone on to play at Representative Team level and 5 players have made the progression into Professional Academies.
Future Successes
Advanced Sports Coaching has a number of players who are currently on trial at various clubs including: Reading FC, Southampton FC, and Swindon Town FC and we wish these players all the best in their quest to become The Professional Players of the future.
